Link Your Aadhar with PAN
Follow the below mention procedure for Aadhaar Link:
- Open the Website: www.incometax.gov.in
- Click on the “Link Aadhaar” option under “Our Services” tab.
- Enter your PAN no., Aadhaar no., Name as per Aadhaar and Mobile No.
- If you have only birth year mention in your Aadhaar, select on the tab “I have only year of birth in Aadhaar Card”
- Agree the Aadhaar details and proceed.
Important Points
- Name, Date of Birth and Gender as per PAN will be validated against your Aadhaar Details.
- Please ensure that 'Aadhaar Number' and 'Name as per Aadhaar' is exactly the same as printed on your Aadhaar card.
- UIDAI Circular F.No. K-11022/631/2017-UIDAI with regard to discontinuation of partial match in Demographic Authentication w.e.f. 1-2-2017 by UIDAI.
Note: You can also link your Aadhaar with PAN after login with www.incometax.gov.in and then Go to ‘My Profile’ Section and then Link your Aadhaar.
